I: Creative Research and Design
My responsibilities and level of involvement on a project will depend on the needs of the story and the production.
Typically, I am involved in a show’s collaborative design, system design, media content production, media server programing, and the technical aspects of projection. I particularly enjoy collaborating on the authorship and devising of new work.
I have given scholarly presentations on my design practice and research nationally and internationally. This includes presentations at the Association for Information Science and Technology (AIS&T); Association for Theatre in Higher Education [2013, 2014, 2015] (ATHE); U.S. Institute for Technical Theater [2014, 2015 & 2017] (USITT); International Federation for Theatre Research: Bodies on Stage Confronted by Technology (IFTR); and Immersive Media Entertainment, Research, Science & Arts (IMERSA).
When viewing the slide show, you can click on the foursquare icon in the lower right corner to see a grid-index view of the gallery that includes a full list of credits and an indication of whether the project was commercial or academic.
